What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in: 
after 4 p.m. We would be happy to help you with your luggage. 
Check-out: 
on the day of departure, we ask that you vacate the room by 12.00 noon at the latest.

How do I get to you from the station?

Station: in Hornberg (1.5 km away) 
On request, we would be happy to pick you up from the railway station free of charge when you arrive and take you back there again when you depart.

Do you have allergy-friendly bed linen?

Allergy-friendly duvets, extra duvets & pillows are available on request

How can I explore the Black Forest?

With your Konus Guest Card, you can travel by bus and train for free throughout the Black Forest region. The information brochure is available at reception. You can get up-to-date timetable information at www.konus-schwarzwald.de.

Are there any discounts for longer stays?

Yes, with our packages and with the Gutach Valley Card, you receive free admission or a 50% discount to several attractions when you stay 2 nights or more

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Gift vouchers are available at reception. Or you can create your very own personalised gift voucher on our home page.

Are pets allowed? 

Yes, dogs are very welcome to stay with us. 
Cost: €14.00 per animal and night (without food)

How do I get into the hotel if I arrive late? 

The hotel entrance is usually locked at around midnight. 
If you return after midnight, please ring the hotel bell to the left of the entrance door.

International socket adapter & charger for mobile phones? 

Available to borrow on request from reception. 

Do you have Internet access?

Our free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, except in the restaurant.

Do you have any cots and highchairs?

Available free of charge on request.

How much is the local tourist tax?

The tourist tax of the town of Hornberg is €1.70 per adult per day. 

Children aged 15 and over have to pay the tourist tax.

Do you have any parking spaces?

Car parking spaces are available free of charge right in front of the hotel and close by (200 m away).

When do you serve meals in your restaurant?

Breakfast buffet every day from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. 
Snacks/ice-creams/coffee & cake: every day from 12:00 noon to 5:30 p.m. 
Lunch on Sundays & public holidays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. 
Dinner 1st sitting from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
2nd sitting from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
Orders accepted until 8:30 p.m. 
Our restaurant closes at 9:00 p.m. 
Please contact reception to reserve a table. 
Our à la carte restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. On this day, you can order from our small snack menu until 8:30 p.m.

Do you offer half-board? 

Price: €26.00 per person and day (3-course meal of your choice)

Do you have a rest day?

Not in the hotel. Only our à la carte restaurant is closed on Wednesdays

What are your cancellation fees?

up to 28 days before arrival: no charge 
21 to 27 days before arrival: 25% of the package price 
8 to 20 days before arrival: 50% of the package price 
1 to 7 days before arrival: 80% of the package price 
On the same day: 100% of the package price
